Reach Welcomes Avi Kopelman as New VP of Engineering
Redwood City, CA – April 20, 2023 – Pioneering wireless power-at-a-distance company, Reach, proudly introduces Avi Kopelman as its new Vice President of Engineering. As a key member of the executive leadership team, Kopelman reports directly to Reach CEO and Founder, Chris Davlantes, and will spearhead the engineering team in advancing the company’s extensive range of wireless power products and services.
With over 20 years in technical leadership roles, Kopelman brings a wealth of expertise driving the commercial delivery of connected devices, such as smartphones, cameras, and other networking products. Most recently, as Vice President of Connected Devices at VergeSense, he led the development of IoT sensors and established an engineering team to support the world’s first occupancy intelligence platform. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Reviver, Hardware Platform Director at Palm, and Head of Camera Development at GoPro where he was in charge of all camera engineering disciplines, including strategic and tactical planning ownership from concept to mass production.
Kopelman earned an MBA from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
